Where People Of God Come Together

Building Relationships Through God's Love

Scripture of the Week:

Psalm 92

Of David.

It is good to praise the LORD,
to sing hymns to Your name, O Most High,

To proclaim Your steadfast love at daybreak,
Your faithfulness each night

With a ten-stringed harp,
with voice and lyre together.

You have gladdened me by Your deeds, O LORD;
I shout for joy at Your handiwork.

How great are Your works, O LORD,
how very subtle Or “profound.” Your designs!

A brutish man cannot know,
a fool cannot understand this:

though the wicked sprout like grass,
though all evildoers blossom,
it is only that they may be destroyed forever.

But You are exalted, O LORD, for all time.
Surely, Your enemies, O LORD,
surely, Your enemies perish;
all evildoers are scattered.

You raise my horn high like that of a wild ox;
I am soaked in freshening oil.

I shall see the defeat of my watchful foes,
hear of the downfall of the wicked who beset me.

The righteous bloom like a date-palm;
they thrive like a cedar in Lebanon;

planted in the house of the LORD,
they flourish in the courts of our God.

In old age they still produce fruit;
they are full of sap and freshness,

attesting that the LORD is upright,
my rock, in whom there is no wrong.

Have Patience, The Wicked Will Get Their Due

I do not know if anyone has noticed but there are many things going on that people were not prepared for. For a while there was good in the world and seemed like it was on a good track for bringing forth the Messiah. The world had its moment, things were turning from the darkness we felt and the delusions of hope and prosperity turned into hope and prosperity but there were some who did not want that because they would lose control.

The masks that people hide behind were being peeled off yet there was a new delusion. Promises made and  now we are seeing that they would not be kept. People are not meant to lead their entire adult life. The lust for power makes them believe they are untouchable but they are not.  Let’s take a look at the first 15 verses of Psalm 37:
Don’t be upset by evildoers or envious of those who do wrong,
for soon they will wither like grass and fade like the green in the fields.
Trust in Adonai, and do good; settle in the land, and feed on faithfulness.
Then you will delight yourself in Adonai, and he will give you your heart’s desire.
Commit your way to Adonai; trust in him, and he will act.
He will make your vindication shine forth like light,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
Be still before Adonai; wait patiently till he comes.
    Don’t be upset by those whose way succeeds because of their wicked plans.
Stop being angry, put aside rage, and don’t be upset — it leads to evil. V. 1-8
The way of the oppressors is to divide people. We have been divided in so many ways about so many things that it will be very hard to come to an agreement and the government will have to step in when people cry out for a leader to lead. The problem we see right now is that there is so much turmoil in the houses of government that there is no way they can make a combined effort to save the people they swore to honor, lead, and protect.
How can we sing of faithfulness when those who are faithful to the principles of God are being cut down to shreds? We must suffer to be healed but what type of suffering depends on how the leaders we elected help us. For too long leaders have succeeded while the people suffer from their plans. They want us so broken that we call on them for help. Man cannot help us, only God can save us.

We need leaders that Love the One True God, not Molech or Ba’al. Where are they? They are waiting for the moment when the tower falls and the evil is revealed.
For evildoers will be cut off, but those hoping in Adonai will inherit the land.
Soon the wicked will be no more; you will look for his place, and he won’t be there.
But the meek will inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace.
The wicked plots against the righteous and grinds his teeth at him;
but Adonai laughs at the wicked, knowing his day will come.
The wicked have unsheathed their swords, they have strung their bows
to bring down the poor and needy, to slaughter those whose way is upright.
But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.  V. 9-15
The laws of man are beginning to fail. More and more are waking up even though it does not seem that way.  Man will see a resurgence of God’s Law being the law of the land and remove the corrupt very soon.

What we need is people to recognize God as Lord and Savior putting away their idols and worship only God. We need to stop sexual immoralities and protect marriage for what it is meant to be. We need to forgive others so that God forgives us. Stop the jealousy and not be so materialistic and coveting the property of others. We should follow the Ten Commandments, it is really not that hard once you get the first four down then the other six come easy.

Brothers and Sisters, We are the hope that people need. If we do not speak, if we do not act, everything we have tried to do will be in vain. We really need to open the eyes of so many but those who see this, we cannot do it alone. God will prevail one way or another.

What Can Man Do To Me?

This is honestly a question we should be asking ourselves right now. It is also a question we need to not ask. We have been through so much especially this past year. We have three types of people right now. There are folks that just ignore everything and totally think for themselves without worry of the safety and health of others. There are also people who understand we are not indestructible and need to follow procedures. Then there are those who take it to the extreme out of fear of catching something that could kill without realizing that anything we do can result in our death. Which one are you?
We need to realize that we are not 100% physically protected by God and still need to take precautions to protect the bodies we have been given to live.
People in authority are just as confused or afraid to let certain things go public because of the uncertainties that are in the world right now. But we as Believers have something that many do not, we have God:
 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
We can be in the world but not of the world. When you live a life without needs, wants, or desires, the world seems like a crazy yet livable place. When we let more of the world in and less of God we become more like the first person or the third listed above. God desires calmness from us so we can hear Him. Without this, we are prone to loss of many things.
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6
What can man do to us except make us suffer for being who we are. The more we show charity to others we will be able to survive through anything that man can throw at us. To show charity we do not have to throw money around, that is not charity. Being a charitable person means using our Spiritual gifts combined with our worldly means in order to assist others. It means being kind in adversity. Showing mercy where others may not care.

Man can create chaos easier than creating an atmosphere of peace. We must give up our chaotic ways and be of good nature in order to nurture others. Yes I know it is not easy but it is the best way to show who we are. Can we do this? Yes, yes we can.

Have a great rest of the day.
In God’s Arms,
