Where People Of God Come Together

 Devotions and Lessons
Building Relationships Through God's Love

Scripture of the Week:

Psalm 92

Of David.

It is good to praise the LORD,
to sing hymns to Your name, O Most High,

To proclaim Your steadfast love at daybreak,
Your faithfulness each night

With a ten-stringed harp,
with voice and lyre together.

You have gladdened me by Your deeds, O LORD;
I shout for joy at Your handiwork.

How great are Your works, O LORD,
how very subtle Or “profound.” Your designs!

A brutish man cannot know,
a fool cannot understand this:

though the wicked sprout like grass,
though all evildoers blossom,
it is only that they may be destroyed forever.

But You are exalted, O LORD, for all time.
Surely, Your enemies, O LORD,
surely, Your enemies perish;
all evildoers are scattered.

You raise my horn high like that of a wild ox;
I am soaked in freshening oil.

I shall see the defeat of my watchful foes,
hear of the downfall of the wicked who beset me.

The righteous bloom like a date-palm;
they thrive like a cedar in Lebanon;

planted in the house of the LORD,
they flourish in the courts of our God.

In old age they still produce fruit;
they are full of sap and freshness,

attesting that the LORD is upright,
my rock, in whom there is no wrong.

What Can Man Do To Me?

Read Now

This is honestly a question we should be asking ourselves right now. It is also a question we need to not ask. We have been through so much especially this past year. We have three types of people right now. There are folks that just ignore everything and totally think for themselves without worry of the safety and health of others. There are also people who understand we are not indestructible and need to follow procedures. Then there are those who take it to the extreme out of fear of catching something that could kill without realizing that anything we do can result in our death. Which one are you?
We need to realize that we are not 100% physically protected by God and still need to take precautions to protect the bodies we have been given to live.
People in authority are just as confused or afraid to let certain things go public because of the uncertainties that are in the world right now. But we as Believers have something that many do not, we have God:
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
We can be in the world but not of the world. When you live a life without needs, wants, or desires, the world seems like a crazy yet livable place. When we let more of the world in and less of God we become more like the first person or the third listed above. God desires calmness from us so we can hear Him. Without this, we are prone to loss of many things.
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6
What can man do to us except make us suffer for being who we are. The more we show charity to others we will be able to survive through anything that man can throw at us. To show charity we do not have to throw money around, that is not charity. Being a charitable person means using our Spiritual gifts combined with our worldly means in order to assist others. It means being kind in adversity. Showing mercy where others may not care.

Man can create chaos easier than creating an atmosphere of peace. We must give up our chaotic ways and be of good nature in order to nurture others. Yes I know it is not easy but it is the best way to show who we are. Can we do this? Yes, yes we can.

Have a great rest of the day.
In God’s Arms,
Rob, Servant of God

Miracles Happen Every Day

Read Now

Miracles happen every day. Some people believe that miracles only happen when a person performs a miraculous thing that changes something or makes a difference in a life or lives. This is true to a point but miracles do not just happen with people, every part of creation is miraculous and these miracles are a daily occurrence.

Early Morning Miracles
Every day starts with the miracle of life. During the night the land and all creation is at rest, well except for the nocturnal creatures. Thing is, many people take this for granted. There are those who concentrate on scientific reasoning or just say that it happens because it does. God reminds Job that these scientific things do not happen by chance but are His doing to bring life and nourishment to the world.

Morning dew gives the first nourishment for plant life. This is not always guaranteed depending on the season. The dew gives the water needed for the plants and trees to release oxygen so we can breathe. Leaves, flowers and blades of grass need the water to grow. Plants that bear fruit store the water to develop food for all creatures.

When birds wake they sing praises to God. God hears all His creatures. Waking up is something that is not guaranteed. Once again it is considered a natural event but we do not always wake up the same. It is possible that God uses the night in our slumber to give us our mood and plan for the day.

Miracles in the World
When the wind moves plant life, the song they sing brings joy and is a call for the insects to do their job. The sun is a gift that gives the light, warmth, and certain nutrients that give us life. Life itself is a miracle. Science can try to explain the functions but only God creates life.

There are many things that happen in the world that we just pass by without thinking about them. Have you ever just sat outside and just listened and smelled the world around you? God created so many things and caused so many other things to come into existence, all we have to do is look.

We Allow Distraction
Every Word in the Pentateuch is God’s. The stories and words of the Prophets exist because of God's interactions with them. The wisdom of God is written so we can live a good life in the world. Our issue in this day and age is that we get distracted with technology, politics, work, and even our own lives. When we are distracted with things of the world we lose sight of the little miracles that happen all around us. Sometimes we completely put our relationship with God on the backburner and the Bible gathers dust.

What Should We Do?
The hardest thing to do is to remove yourself from distractions that have become habits. That game that you have to be on because you don’t want to lose a daily reward can wait until you have a conversation with God and read from the Bible. Find a verse on Sunday that you meditate on for the week and write about what you learned by Saturday. Meditate on what your pastor talked about on Sunday and if there is a challenge make that a priority for your week. Spend time with your loved ones even if it is over a video call of sorts. Yes, you can still play the game but remember that God and family comes first.

Miracles are gifts from God to remind us who He is. Without God we would not be here and nothing would be the something that exists. We live for God because of God. We smell the roses, feel the wind, hear the birds, and see the beauty of creation because God made it so. We are not here by chance.

This Week’s Challenge
This week I challenge you to put God first before everything. After you wake and have a conversation with God then you can have that morning pick up so you can read His Word. Once you spend time with God then go about your day and by the end of the week you will notice a difference in your desire for distractions because your desire to learn from God will hopefully increase.

Remember, even though God knows all and sees all we should still let Him know that we recognize His work in our lives and our dependence on His presence.

Once we get to Saturday this week I would like you to send me a message if you noticed a difference in your walk with God. In fact, I would really like to hear from you. Maybe share your testimony or questions that you would like answered. We are family and I want to get to know you.

In God’s Embrace,
 Rob, Servant of God.

Are You Complacent?

Often in the Old Testament we read about Israel becoming too comfortable with the way things were. They lived their lives by what they believed was right and took God for granted. They did their sacrifices and the feasts but was it just lip service to keep in good graces with God? They were growing complacent. Their hearts were not always in the right place.
I hate, I despise your feasts,
and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies.
Even though you offer me your burnt offerings and grain offerings,
    I will not accept them;
and the peace offerings of your fattened animals,
I will not look upon them.
Take away from me the noise of your songs;
to the melody of your harps I will not listen.
But let justice roll down like waters,
and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. Amos 5:21-24
This is happening today. Does your place of worship seem like a safe place to be where things are way too comfortable? You know almost all the Hymns by heart. You know the order of service because it never changes except during a baptism and communion Sundays. The church building is the only place you talk about God instead of sharing with people outside the church? If you do share then you never follow up. If these sound familiar then you may be part of a lukewarm or complacent body of believers.
I don't mean to scare you or push you away because you feel like I am condemning. I am not here to do that but I do ask that you read this through and examine your faith life and the life of your place of worship before it is too late.
Being At Ease is Not Always a Good Thing
We are a people in constant suffering because we are still sinful creatures. When we enter a place of worship we leave the world outside even though our nature walks in with us. Once we are in and the service begins we feel weights are lifted. The problem is that in the back of our mind we really do not want to leave because we feel the most comfortable there. The challenge is made but not accepted in our hearts.
Idle hands bring poverty;   diligent hands bring wealth. Proverbs 10:4
Being at ease also makes a person idle. The lack of charitable deeds not only can make life hard but the spirit suffers as well. This can also be explained as an active faith life. He who lives by the Word and does good things in God’s name will be rewarded, he who sits and lets others tiol in the harvest will not eat at the table.
Amos the prophet spoke about the impending exile of the northern kingdom. He said many things that showed the people how they had either forgotten God or relied on Him too much. The first verse of the sixth chapter says,
Woe to those who are at ease in Zion
And to those who feel secure in the mountain of Samaria,
The distinguished men of the foremost of nations,
To whom the house of Israel comes.
Amos goes on to tell how being lazy in worship and not having an active faith are not conducive to a healthy relationship with God. We can be fully reliant on God but it takes an active faith for the reliance to come to fruition. God takes care of us but only if we do our part.

We Have Become Complacent to Assimilation in Society
There is a problem that must be solved now. The question that must be answered is why have we let secular society infiltrate and change God. In general terms, we have let sinful natures be boasted in the church which calls for an acceptance which makes us just as guilty as the sinner. God tells us to accept all people but to disassociate ourselves with the boastful, open sinners. We have allowed Contemporary Christian songs that do not comply with God’s Holy Word become the focus of worship instead of prayer and sharing the Word itself. We are taught to sing songs of praise and worship but only to and for God, no one else. We have let the government tell us what we can and cannot do through laws that regulate how we conduct the business of the church.
The government has removed God from the law of the land and replaced it with man’s law alone. Many churches are forced into becoming registered non profits just to survive. We cannot even have a charitable arm unless it is registered with the state.

Instead of fighting and standing on God’s Law, assimilation has caused a multitude of issues that must be addressed and solved before it is too late. One of the worst things for a Body of Believers is the fear of being ridiculed for the outside misunderstanding of Christian beliefs. Just because we are told certain things are sins does not mean the person with the sin cannot enter the church but it does deter full membership. Traditions, Mission Statements, Belief Statements, and ByLaws have been under attack for lack of society's standards of inclusiveness.
Christianity is a religious idea based on the belief in Jesus the Messiah (Christ is not His last name). The basic tenants of the faith revolve around the Universal Laws of God and the Ten Commandments. We cannot, should not, and will not move from the beliefs set up from old. If that happens then the church body can no longer be called Christian.
Brothers and sisters I am speaking out on this because we are in a time like the Israelites of old where God sent His punishment on the land and hardly anyone listened. What happened to them is happening to us and too many are blind to the truth of the matter. Stay faithful to God and He will take care of you. Remember the teachings of Jesus. Do not let your beliefs be moved and Stand Firm on the Promises of God.
Through God’s Grace and Mercy we can be showered in His Love.

There’s A New Dawn Soon

Brothers and Sisters the time for renewal is here. Every year we have this wonderful thing called New Year’s Resolutions (NYR). The issue is that many people who make these resolutions do not resolve to actually accomplish them. What is a NYR? Basically, it is a much needed change that stems from events or physical characteristics that happened the previous year. Sometimes the NYRs are not resolved from the previous year and so the person tries again and again. We are such procrastinators when it comes to change that we cannot even begin to understand the changes that must occur in our lives when it comes to Obedience to God.

Change is Good for the Soul
The choices we make in this life really do dictate how we live. Choosing a spouse, a house, having a child, are all very important things. So are other choices we make but the most important choice any believer should be making is how much time we devote to God.

Time is a human condition that dictates many things but it is of no consequence when it comes to devotion to our Creator. Every second of every day actually belongs to Him but we choose how to use it. So many folks rely on a clock that there is no time for relaxing and reflecting and when that does finally happen, thoughts of God do not enter the mind. Instead we look for ways to just vegetate or take our minds off of the day instead of thanking God for how He helped us through it.

What needs to change is less reliance on a clock and more reliance on what we are to do with our lives when it comes to God. Everything we do has some connection to God. Daily chores, eating, working, playing, communicating, spending time with family and friends, these are things that can bring us closer to a relationship with God.

When we recognize and approach the changes necessary to bring us closer to God, we are really searching our soul for what it needs. We are asking our heart what will fill it spiritually while our physical needs, not desires, are also met. Do not resolve to acquire physical things but resolve to make oneself physically and spiritually fit. Making that change will change others' outlook about you and themselves.

Change is Not Easy
There are a few things that we really must approach cautiously yet with tough love. We all know someone who is struggling and trying to find themself. The issue there is that they are seeking for self gratification and use the influence of other people whom they see as having good, happy lives. The problem is most of the influencers are fake and are being influenced to act a certain way by others themselves. These will be the hardest to change because more than likely, God is not on their minds.
This is where tough love comes into play. Life choices can be made that are actually detrimental to the soul. I have seen so many people in pain from the results of either their choices or the choices of someone they love. If the choice made goes against God’s Law then the chances are that life will seem okay on the outside but there's a battle going on in the soul of the person. This causes others to stumble because of their love for the person and the wish not to mentally hurt them even though they are struggling with the mental and spiritual pain themselves.

If you are struggling because you have a loved one who made certain life choices, you can still love the person but do not force change nor be in complete acceptance of the person’s choice. Shower with God’s Love but ensure you differentiate acceptance from this Love. Change can happen.

Be Faithful and Grateful
How often do we take our faith for granted and do whatever we want. When we are that way then we are not faithful nor grateful for all the things that have been done for us. In James we read that faith without works is dead. This is a very true statement because when we have true faith we do good works which help grow our faith even more. If we just say saved by faith alone and continue to sin then we are most ungrateful for everything ever done for us. Both of these require a change but the second more than the first.

When someone does an act of faith and requires accolades then that person is more about the self and does not understand what faith is. When someone relies on faith to make things happen and things remain stagnant, there is no real faith but lip service because God will not assist someone who will not take action for themselves.

Glory is not ours to have. Fame is nonsense and popularity means nothing. We have grown up in a society where certain people need to have attention and to get it they put their whole lives and talents out in the open for everyone to serve praise or ridicule. This is not living nor does it serve a purpose except for a distraction from what really matters.

How does one act on faith? What that means is to be a charitable person. To give more than receive. To create an atmosphere where people feel the Love and Presence of the Father God and see that the person is of good character. That is acting on faith.

What does it mean to be grateful? In everything praise and worship are for the Father God alone. No other creature, person, or man made object can do what God has done or will do in our lives to make living possible. When we pray, give God all the glory for everything about to happen or what has happened depending on morning or evening prayer. Give God thanks for every meal before and after. Pray the prayer that Jesus taught at least once a day. That is being grateful.

Change Is Necessary To Be Faithful Servants
We are in a place right now where the world needs to step back and look at itself and how everyone is treating everyone else. People who fought for awareness and  acceptance now desire everyone to change to their ways. This is more dangerous than saying thank you and just go on living. People who I deal with daily know that I understand who and what they are or what they desire to be. They also know that I do not need to be reminded or their way pushed upon me or I will say something they do not want to hear.
We need to change the world one person at a time to be obedient to God’s Law but the biggest change has to be within ourselves.
Brothers and Sisters, I know that I may have offended or made some feel that I am condemning or judging and if that is so then I did not mean to make it sound that way. I am a follower of God and His Law so that is how I must be. I speak truth without the sugar coating. God’s Law is eternal and we are just fleeting moments and pieces of His plan.

With Love,
 Rob, Servant of God

Don't Cause Another To Stumble

Read Now

Brothers and Sisters, I have been thinking about things over the last few days and I was directed to seek out information on being a stumbling block. This world is full of stumbling blocks that affect us physically and spiritually. How we deal with these stumbling blocks have an effect on not just our daily lives but our future in the next.
Types of Stumbling Blocks
Stumbling blocks are obstacles that keep us from God and cause trouble in our lives. There are many ways we can stumble. The words and actions of others can cause us to do things that are against our belief systems and cause us to sin. What we let enter our eyes and ears can affect how we react for the rest of the day and sometimes even longer if we let it linger. Sometimes the stumbling block will have eternal consequences.
But take care that this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak. 1 Corinthians 8:9
The example given in this passage pertained to food sacrificed to an idol but it goes much deeper than that. We all have certain liberties that we take which can be temptations to others. People can inadvertently tempt others in the food they eat, the liquids they drink, the words and way they speak, and the way they present themselves through dress and attitude. Those with weakness of belief can fall even further into sin.
Some stumbling blocks lead to addictions. Tempting someone with something that may make you feel good temporarily does have eternal consequence. Just as in the paragraph above, these can be intentional or unintentional temptations. It is our choice as to whether or not we allow ourselves to be tempted.
Foods can lead a person two ways that involve healthy living. When someone is on a diet they avoid certain foods. If their will is not strong enough to maintain their diet then it could lead to eating the wrong things their bodies need. To avoid this, some will keep to themselves during lunches so it  is a bad idea for another person to tempt them with other foods.
Alcohol and drugs bring a person a false sense of happiness and hope. They can make us temporarily forget things, do things, or say things we would not ordinarily do. When someone is healing from an addiction we need to encourage them with kindness and not persuade them to return to the addiction by drinking or such in their presence.
Be careful what comes out of the mouth. Words can hurt. This is nothing new but if a person is recovering from mental abuse it is best not to bring things up that may cause a relapse. Be careful how you speak and let only the good words come out of your mouth.
Modesty is a stumbling block that can cause multiple issues. In many societies of the Middle East, women are covered so that men do not look upon them with lustful eyes. The western culture is more open which stems from ancient Greek and Roman obsession/worship of the human body. The sexual drive and desires of mankind has gotten out of hand. This affects both genders equally. From provocative dress to partial nudity, humans have looked upon the opposite (and sometimes same) sex with immoral sexual desires. This failure has caused many good persons to stumble and fall into sin.
You shall not curse a deaf man, nor place a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall revere your God; I am the Lord.  Leviticus 19:14
One of the most important changes we can make in our lives is to not cause others to stumble.
How can we be good when this world does not like help. People have issues and our sinful nature tells us to egg them on and say nasty things about others current situations. To be a person trying to follow the Commandments of God we cannot let our evil inclinations get the better of us.
Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai. Leviticus 19:18
Kindness and charity, these are the ways in which God desires us to live. Jesus was a good example for this. Jesus did show anger every once in a while but most of the time it was a teaching point or a way of showing others how their behavior affects others.
But as for you, you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble by the instruction; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi,” says the Lord of hosts.  Malachi 2:8
Do as I say not as I do is the mantra of many who teach but cannot live as they teach others to do. Great mentors have caused people to stumble. Public figures, celebrity, and social influencers have distorted views of the right way of living but do their best to either influence others not to be like them or to worship them. When God is not in the forefront of a public figure’s life, people will stumble if they cannot discern right from wrong.
And it will be said, “Build up, build up, prepare the way, Remove every obstacle out of the way of My people.”  Isaiah 57:14
Living for God is the best way to build the Kingdom. If we live for God daily then we will influence the world to believe in God. This means making right choices and following God’s Word given to us through Adam and Noah. This means following the examples of Jesus and the twelve. We are to be able to discern right from wrong using the basic tenets and guidelines within the Law of God. If we can conduct ourselves in the way we are designed and created to do, we can create a life of harmony where we do not stumble or cause others to stumble as well.
Brothers and Sisters, with a new year approaching let us reflect on the good things and not repeat the bad of this or previous years. Hold yourself to God’s standard of living because only His is eternal. Live, work, do as you are designed. Care for the world and it will care for you. This is the way to reflect and rever God so we can return to a relationship with Him and be His inheritance.
In His Arms,
Rob, Servant of God

Victory Over Assimilation

Victory Over Assimilation
During this Advent season there are many things to be praised and hoped for. We seek Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace. The first Children of the Book have an eight day celebration that reminds people to be lights, not to give in and to thank God for His presence. I am speaking of the Festival of Chanukah.
What is the Jewish Festival of Chanukah? To the common person the celebration is similar to Christmas because of the gifts but there’s more. At first look, it is a Festival of Victory over the Syrians. The further we reach into what it is, we find that it isn’t about candles, presents and food, there is a deeper spiritual/miraculous meaning.
A Nation Devoted to God
After the Second Temple had been started and the people returned to God after the Babylonian exile, there was a sense of national pride and faithfulness almost equal to the time of David. Yes they had issues but they were in touch with God. The nation was still gaining strength when Syria decided that Jerusalem was not going to rise again. This was a period where God did not need to send prophets because the people lived for God.
Desecration
What do you do when an invading force tells you that you will worship other gods than the one that you have been faithful to? You either assimilate or fight. This was a common occurrence and still happens to this day where people want others to assimilate to their beliefs or desires after gaining even just a smidge of acceptance by a few.
Over 2000 years ago, Judea had that problem when the Syrian king Antiochus ordered the abandonment of the Torah and openly worship the Greek deities. They had dealt with the kings of Babylon and Persia and were saved from genocide thanks to Esther and now the Syrians took a shot. They solidified this by desecrating the temple.
When they desecrated the temple, the Syrian army also spilt the sacred oils used to light the menorah and lampstands. The Syrians offended the Jewish nation in many ways and showed their displeasure by having little skirmishes here and there. The little battles raised a desire for removal of those who would destroy their ways. So what did they do? The Jews came together under God to defeat the Syrian king.
The Maccabean Rebellion
A small army of Jews gathered everything they had, prayed and began fighting against their Syrian occupiers. The rebellion was led by Judas Macabeus which culminated in the cleansing and rededicating the Temple. When the priests were going through the destruction they found one small bottle of consecrated oil which was just enough for one day of fuel.
The Celebration
The cleansing and rededication lasted eight days. This was a time of great rejoicing and confirmed many a faith and trust in God. Because of the great outpouring, the Jews experienced the miracle of the oil lasting all eight days.
The Meaning of Chanukah
The word means to rededicate but there is more to this celebration. The overarching message is light over darkness, miracles over morass, and faith over fatalism. Not only did they rededicate the temple, they rededicated their lives to God. They established victory over assimilation which had been a sore of their history when men and women had turned to idolatry and pagan gods in the past and left the One True God. Judas Maccabeus was called a messiah due to his leadership and victory but they did not idolize him over fear of God.
The period of Chanukah is a time for rededication and celebrating victory of the national pride which has flourished over the centuries. Something to notice, many civilizations have come and gone but the people of Israel still exist. They might join a society in certain aspects, some have not followed the Torah but still believe, some have accepted Jesus, but the people still identify as a people. They are not alone in this but many other cultures have forgone their ways or have assimilated completely into other societies.
What can we learn from this?
Christianity is a melting pot of assimilated belief systems and people. There are three major religious groups in the world with Christianity being the most diverse in core beliefs. Unfortunately our melting pot means that we have different thoughts, ideas, traditions, and Doctrines which are followed. This makes it easy for the Adversary to take advantage of the confusion.
We are in the process of being assimilated into a society without God. A society which has chosen to disobey and destroy the Ten Commandments. A society which will be destroyed unless we return it to God.
Many influential people have been corrupted by the world and are taking Christians with them. The ones who are weakest in their faith are the ones that have given in and are part of the world. They are given into perversions and evil inclinations. Those that continually search for answers are the easiest swayed.
Christians need to stop searching for answers and discern their faith clearly and concisely so there are no questions. We need to stop perverting Scripture to meet our needs and instead meet the needs of Scripture. We also need to understand the difference between God’s Word (Scripture) and Man’s interpretations and teachings that have become Scripture. This world will pass away but God’s Word (written and spoken) is eternal.    The only way to come together as one in peace is to break the differences, learn the truth of the original texts, and come to one accord if Christianity is going to survive.
There is hope in this world but where is it found? There is joy in this world, just look into a child’s eyes. There is peace but we have to have war to attain it. There is love but we have to make sure it is of God and not how the world defines it. Enjoy the rest of the holiday season for what it is meant for, not materialism but relational.
May God’s Glory shine through you,
 Rob, Servant of God

There is Hope

Read Now

Here we are in the Second Week of Advent. What is your Hope in this world and where do you believe it will come from? Some put their hope in science, others put their hope in leaders and earthly authorities. Some place their hope in their dreams while others have no hope at all. There is only one true place that our hope needs to be, with God.
What is hope? Hope is an expectation, an anticipation of things to come. Hope is a desire for fulfillment.  Hope is where we place our trust. We trust that people will do the right thing when it comes to making people feel better. We hope the new medications will remove what ails us so we trust the doctors to give the right amount necessary. We hope the authorities over us will make right and good decisions so our lives are not given to poverty. We trust those decisions will heal a nation and not destroy it.
All those hopes are good for our short time on earth and we hope that future generations learn from our success, failures, and mistakes. If we have no hope for the future then we are destined to destroy now. If we have no hope in a higher power we have nothing to look forward to in our own lives. Why do we hope for things without being god centered?
Trusting Science for Healing
We are in a time of pestilence. Many look towards the doctors and scientists to heal us, find a vaccine, or maybe even a cure. For decades, man has successfully found ways of tricking the body into making white blood cells attack viruses and other diseases. Some have been eradicated while others find ways of mutating and returning. Some lay dormant for decades only to return. They put chemicals into our bodies that seem to work with little to no side effects and eventually say that the disease is cured. But they cannot cure the common cold or the flu. Their hope was in science and seemingly left God out of the equation. Without God, there is no hope no matter good the scientists are.
Trusting in Earthly Authority
We are told that God places those whom He deems worthy or whom is necessary for us to learn and return to Him. We are heading towards the end of the current age of man and we have done poorly through placing our hope and trust in everything but God. We have become too comfortable in our lives and some have chosen lifestyles that are against the natural order and procreation purposes God has set up since our creation. We need to change.
The United States and a few other countries are able to vote as to who they want leading them. Some countries have active monarchies that have existed since before the Middle Ages, while other countries are run by dictators who are so power hungry that they forget everyone else. If you look at the past, God has awarded and punished nations for living right or being disobedient through the evil inclinations of the leaders. Some of those nations survive while others get completely wiped off the map. Their hope was in the worldly things.
Trusting in Inanimate Objects and Celebrity
Unfortunately idolatry is alive and well today. People hope they can have enough money to survive and are not the self-sufficient person that God designed. We are able to do things but without God we are nothing. Some have replaced God with man made objects or even other people that they hope will make their lives better. Instead they become lost, disoriented, destitute, and unwilling to see the Hope for the future that is in belief in God the Father.
There are folks who make these objects and people desirable for their own greed and care nothing for those who end up worshiping them. The celebrity is just another person but with talents that are being used and abused. Some are so obsessed with the need for approval that they lose themselves and turn to abusive and destructive substances and emotions. Maybe they were considered role models at one time but eventually they fall. God tells us not to boast of one’s talents and one’s sins for they will be our undoing. When people see role models fall, some ignore them, some try to pick them up, and some unfortunately choose the same path. These are the dangers we face when we idolize a person.
There is Hope For A Great Future
When God is at the forefront of our hopes and desires we are in great shape. Placing our trust in God means that our hope relies on the many possibilities that God can guide us through. Our hope gives us the courage to make the right choices even though some may seem wrong at the time. God uses bad choices to teach us how to make good ones and help those who are in need so that they may help others. Our hope in God shows HIs Mercy and Grace upon us when we are sick, hungry, healthy, or full. With our hope placed in God’s Hands we can make it through anything.
We hope for a Messiah to come and lead us into the next era of our existence. We might not see it while we are on this earth but if we keep hope alive He will come.

Brothers and Sisters, keep hope alive through keeping God’s Word in your heart and sharing it with others. This season do not worry but keep yourselves healthy through doing the right things. Remember, your body is God’s Temple. Do not abuse it or believe in some miracle cure all, only God can cure, only God can Save.

In His Arms,
Rob, Servant of God

Taking Action in Faith

Read Now

Faith is simply doing what we can and waiting for God to do what we cannot. That was said this morning by a pastor talking about what we are supposed to do, not just with our faith but because of our faith. When we put our trust in God that means we have faith that whatever God tells us to accomplish and get to a point where we cannot do anything else, God takes it from there and finishes the task. When many Believers are together we can do great things because of our faith.

This is the first Sunday in Advent. Different denominations give the first Sunday different names and different orders but in this year we need to place our faith in God First above all else. Without Faith there is no Hope. Without Hope there is no Joy. Without Joy we do not truly know Peace. Without all the above, we do not know what Love is.

How do we move forward in this time of stagnant belief? Many churches are just trying to give people hope that this will end soon but where is the thought, where is the teaching on what God desires of us?

So many have lost their trust in God and are more reliant on the scientist and doctors but their healing is only temporary. The only true cure is following what God requires of us. What does He require? He wants our trust to be fully in Him. He wants to reconnect with us but we have to choose to do so and stay with it at any cost. Having a relationship with God means that our relationships here on earth are healed. We all have that someone who we just cannot get along with in our families. How can we have a relationship with God if we cannot love our own?

The Smallest Faith
Do you know why Jesus talked about faith of a mustard seed? A mustard seed is small but packs a punch. It requires to be sown by us but when it hits the ground, amazing things can happen. The root system is so strong it moves whatever is in its path to the point of breaking through clay and stone. How is that like faith? We trust that God will finish what we cannot. We cannot control where the root system goes but we can give it a start by placing it where it needs to be. We start a task given to us by God and do what we are able then God takes care of what we are unable to do.

We are sinful in nature and have evil inclinations but we can choose to defeat them and do good things. When we choose the good over the bad we show God that we need His help to stay away from the evil and that shows our trust in Him which builds our faith. The more of our lives we let God control, the stronger our faith becomes. This builds our relationship with Him so we find our Hope, we see our Joy, we know Peace in His Presence, and we finally feel His Love.

This season there are many opportunities to share the Word of God through Faith in Action. Be the person God wants you to be and show your faith even in the face of adversity. Take the steps and do as God wants you to do and people will see that that is what they need you to do.

God is Always Faithful, are you?

In the Embrace of the Father,

When Distraction Becomes Obsession

Read Now

The world is filled with many distractions that keep us away from our Creator God. In some cases the distraction presents itself so often that it becomes an obsession. When the distraction becomes an obsession it becomes an idol of worship. Can we see the distraction become an idol? If we recognize it can we control it and minimize it? Can we remove it all together? These are the questions we will hopefully get answers for today.
What are Considered Distractions From God?
The answer may make some people very upset but simply put, distractions are all things that keep us away from thinking about and or worshipping God. The problem with distractions is that they can take over the daily routine where the study of the Words and time with God becomes less and less important. Some distractions as of late are in the forms of electronic media.
Distractions are the first thing that some people go directly to after waking up to see what was missed overnight instead of praying to start the day and then reading/studying a portion of Scripture. What was the morning coffee and newspaper is now the social media or game event of the day that must be completed. Some of the distractions can enforce a mood that sets people off for the rest of the day which is dangerous for families and work relationships. The right thing to do is pray first thing for discernment and not letting things bother you.
People may say that they use these distractions to forget about the day. This is the television show you DVR'd, the game you have to catch up on, or the social media that you heard people talking about throughout the day. If someone else is home then that person is ignored until you are done with the distractor. The best way to forget about the day at work or school is to thank God in prayer then talk about it with those around you.
Loss of Communication
Distractions are things that keep us away from being relational with those who are immediately present in our lives. They lead to topics of communication that only revolve around it. This causes friction and less desire to communicate with family and friends. The separation causes some to desire the distraction so much that they lose themselves only to become something they are not. This is called obsession.
Distractions Become Obsessions
Distractions lead to finding people, games, shows, and other things that progress from enjoyments to fandom to obsessions. This causes friction in family and friend relationships and allows for the obsessed person to find others with like ideals which can lead to dangerous situations. An obsessed person lets the distraction become their life.
Obsession is a form of addiction that is in some cases more dangerous than narcotics and alcohol. Once a person is obsessed with something, it becomes the idol of his/her worship. It becomes what people rely on to make them feel good, useful, to give purpose to life. The main problem with certain obsessions is that they lose who they were and become a danger to others who follow in their ways.
Some who were believers in God change their belief system to incorporate their obsession as being okay. The danger here is that God is slowly pushed out and not even mentioned. Bibles that they once held precious gather dust or are given away. This allows the sinful nature and all evil inclinations to take complete hold and they are apart from God.
When Obsession Becomes Lifestyle
Some believers find Scripture that makes the lifestyle that is chosen as deemed good. This is not the case at all. God abhors certain lifestyles and Jesus did not condone them either. The problem is that some abhorred lifestyles are now an accepted norm and are boasted which causes believers to sin through association. The sinfulness is something that is between you and God and does not need other people dragged down with it.
What We Have Forgotten
God made things very clear to the world since Adam. He gave Adam a set of Laws that the world ignored. After the flood of water He gave Noah an additional Law that relaxed only food allowances with certain restrictions. That led to another failure which led to the disbursement of man through language. Just when things were looking good, a couple towns were given into their sins of greed and sexual immorality, they were destroyed by fire.
Decades later a group of people were given Ten Commandments and 613 statutes. These folks chose to live under God’s rule. Were they successful, well not all the time but they are still God’s Chosen even though the popular belief is that they were replaced by Christians. All God’s Commandments, moral and ethical Laws still apply and we have been very disobedient.
What Happens Now
God’s wrath is upon us in the form of pestilence and disease. It infects and kills indiscriminately and will continue until we change our ways, truly repent, stay away from the things we repented of, and return to God. We need to control our distractions so they do not become obsessions so that they do not become temptations that lead to sin and separation from God. Do not boast or revel in sinful lifestyles nor become accepting of their ways. It is time to stand up for what is God’s way not the world’s way.
To heal the world we must bring God forward. We must follow the Laws of God given to Adam, Noah, and the Ten Commandments, moral and ethical laws given to Moses. We must change the definition of love in the world and return the understanding to God’s Love and compassion for His creation. If we do not begin this revival soon many more will die. Be the person God wants you to be, not who the world says you have to be. I say these things out of love and compassion for all God’s Children.

With God’s Loving Arms wrapped around us,
Rob, Servant of the Most High God

Light Up the World

Read Now

Brothers and Sister, you have heard many people talking about lighting up the world in many different ways but only one true light will make the earth right again. There are those who think we need to destroy the world with the fire of nuclear holocaust while others believe that the world should be destroyed through thermal exhaust causing the volcanoes to erupt and reset the world with new land. Some pray for an external galactic body (asteroid) to shake up the earth and wake it up. Well the last group is not far off with wormwood but with all these ways there is only one true way to light up the world with God’s presence, us.

“You are light for the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Likewise, when people light a lamp, they don’t cover it with a bowl but put it on a lampstand, so that it shines for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
The Everlasting Light
God created wisdom and knowledge out of chaos and destruction. This knowledge is the first thing called light. It is the understanding of things, how they are designed and what uses they will have once created. With this light came the spoken and written Word so that the wisdom could be shared with all creation. We are part of that because the Word is written in our hearts. In fact God’s name is in our DNA so we have the capacity to shine the wisdom of the Word with those of the world that dwell in darkness. Because we placed our faith, our trust in God we are a conduit of His light.
What Can We Do With It
The first thing is not abuse it, do not change it in any way shape or form for that would turn us against God. Remember, Jesus changed nothing when He spoke about Scripture but others did. So we must be vigilant in understanding the divine writings while taking heed in how other writers in the New Testament understood it.
We must learn God’s Word, know it, understand it, memorize it, and share it. Do not let it get snuffed out by the world when someone persecutes us. When one is persecuted, all are and we must be ready to strengthen our fallen. When God’s Word is written in the heart it becomes part of our very being. Not one word from our tongues should speak evil of someone else. The Light of God’s Word is the goodness of it, not the evil inclinations that cause temptations which can lead ourselves or others to sin.
How Do We Shine?
We shine with every good deed. We shine when we conduct ourselves in accordance with the Commandments of God and not just the summing up of them that we were given by Jesus. Remember when Joshua was learning about God through being mentored by Moses. There was so much more that Moses could not say so Joshua learned it from God directly. We have the opportunity for clarity through prayer, we just need to remember how not to ask of things for us but care for others first. God speaks to us in the quiet, listen. Then you will know how to shine in whatever situation you find yourself in.
We are God’s Children and He will guide us when we follow. God places us where we need to be and when we need to be there and gives us the right words to say. Stay in His Holy Word and shine your light brighter than the morning star.
May God Bless each and every one of you and may His light shine on you and through you. May your words reflect god’s presence in your life and bring the Kingdom closer while defeating all evil.
In God’s Love and Goodness,
Rob, Servant of God

The World Deceives

Read Now

Brothers and Sisters,
As we continue this battle for the world I am reminded of the Prophet Jeremiah, and all he went through when Judah was in a battle for their livelihood right before the exile. When I turned to the book I was led to the eighth chapter. Although the portion has prophetic overtones of a future time for Israel this fourth through ninth verses seem very familiar as to what is happening to us. Read and Listen to the Word of God given to Jeremiah:
“You shall say to them, Thus says the Lord:
When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return? Why then has this people turned away in perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit; they refuse to return. I have paid attention and listened, but they have not spoken rightly; no man relents of his evil, saying, ‘What have I done?’ Everyone turns to his own course, like a horse plunging headlong into battle. Even the stork in the heavens knows her times, and the turtledove, swallow, and crane keep the time of their coming but my people know not the rules of the Lord. “How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie. The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken; behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord, so what wisdom is in them? Jeremiah 8:4-9
Many Have Forgotten God
God desires our worship and obedience to Him and in the above reading, God shows that those who turn away can turn back but many who become accustomed to the world stay away without sorrow for their forgetting God. Some who were faithful hide behind their past while reaching for a future without God. When His Word is rejected by man, God allows their faithlessness until they realize their mistake. The problem is that for many it may be too late.
The recent elections in the United States and other places show a world that rejects God and sets humankind above themselves. What they do not see is that these people who know God but refuse to follow His Laws and Statutes calling them “archaic” do not see the truth of them. God set these rules for a right way of living and subduing the earth while being caretakers of creation.
God created us, He knows us better than we know ourselves. His Name is in our DNA but when we let the world in and remove God, our structure changes and the spirit fights for survival inside a body that has made a mind of its own. Our flesh is nothing without the spirit so in putting it aside makes us no better than zombies seeking the newest high to stay alive. This is no way to live.
Sickness of the Mind is a Sickness In the Heart
Some people see the release from the hold of the world and the norm and call it progress. They do not understand that they are causing those closest to them to challenge their own beliefs and falling in the process. When governments believe themselves a higher authority than God, the whole country suffers. The easily deceived fall first taking with them family members who do not want to lose them. At first they secretly try to bring them back but the pull is too strong and they lose them.
Those who get lost in the fantasy of the world never get out because they live for the attention and receive it in the worst way. This fantasy comes in many forms but they are all of the flesh. There were movements to try and change things but they failed once people realized that the attention was no longer on them. Some are so hungry for fame that they will do anything, even die.
Coming Home
How do we get the lost home? Sometimes the deceived do not want to return because like the prodigal son they enjoy life too much. It takes a complete falling and failure for them to return. When others in their life reject them, they either find a way out or die. What we must do is find them before rock bottom takes hold so we can guide them back to God.
Jesus taught that we must return to the Word to find God and come home. We hold God’s Word but do not always know how to use it. It is called fear of rejection. We need to embrace rejection because sometimes we are just there to plant the seed, sometimes we are there to water it, sometimes we are there to fertilize it, sometimes we nurture it, and sometimes we harvest the plant that grew. It is not our place to bring someone directly to God it is up to the individual to choose life in the Spirit over life in the world.
We do not have to wait for life in exile because as Christians we are already there. It is time to plant, to sow, to reap, to live. Live for Christ but even more, Live for God.
In His Everlasting Love through His Grace and Mercy,
May the Lord keep you, have Mercy upon you, and bring you Peace,
Rob, Servant of God

Brothers and Sisters it is time to rise up for your beliefs. The USA has decided to head away from God and continue to live in depravity. There are so many people who have been deceived and have been blinded by lies and they will revel in their sins until they realize that all the promises will lead to total separation from God. They say they want peace and to live together but there is a cost and all will pay for it in one form or another.
Where is Your Trust?
God made one thing perfectly clear, we are to place our faith and trust in God alone. When we look towards other things and people to trust with our very lives we are literally committing idolatry. There are different levels of trust. We trust our spouses, our children place their trust in us to take care of them, we are to trust that those who work with us are not working against us, we are to trust that people driving on the road will do the right thing and be safe. We are to place our whole being in a trust relationship with God. Just as our children trust that we will let no harm come to them through endearing love, teaching, guidance, and sometimes discipline, We should have the same relationship of trust with God.
Mankind has a deceptive heart that cannot always be trusted so why put our lives into the hands of people who could eventually mean us intentional harm even though they may say it is for the greater good? God wants a relationship with us and does not want to intentionally harm us, but we have seen that lessons are sometimes painful when the world is in disobedience.
It is God who supplies us with our needs. It is God who granted us free will to choose certain aspects of our lives and delivers the consequences to our actions. Man can only do as God designs.
It is About Choice
Sometimes we make choices that are detrimental to ourselves and others. Satan, the Adversary places obstacles in our lives that make us choose poorly and the consequence is felt by the masses. When we choose to be disobedient to God’s Law there are consequences. In the time of the Kings of Israel and Judah, the king’s choices affected the whole country. They would allow certain practices to take place which caused God to punish them. We are no different.
When we elect a leader it is the leaders actions that rule the reactions of people. When the leader is undermined by those who are there to support him or her, the consequences can prove to be damaging to both the physical and spiritual well being of those who are under their authority. When leaders choose to allow actions and words that are against God , the masses suffer. Some may relish the decision and live the way they want to which brings this verse to mind, "In those days Israel had no king; all the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes." (Judges 21:25).
Remember what happened at the Tower of Babel? They wanted to reach God because they were one large mixed group of societies of many people and thought they could be like Him. They were a one world society with one language. There are many this day and age that want to have a New World Order created by and ruled by man, not God. Sounds familiar. If this happens then we are in for a surprise. God has already warned us with nature acting up and a new pandemic. It is just a matter of time before He puts His foot down and that might hurt.
We have been in a Godless society for a while now where the sanctity of marriage in the way God designed it is now done away with.
What is Marriage
The covenant of marriage involves the joining of two (man and woman) to become one. The only way to truly become one is to have a child. (Yes, sometimes God does not allow for couples to have physical children but that is because there are so many unwanted children. God knows where His Love is strongest and will give children to those who have the right heart.) Two becoming one does not mean physically becoming one through a sexual act.
The Pope recently recognized civil unions. He will not recognize it as marriage because that will dissolve a command of God . If a Pope dissolves God’s commands then He is no longer fit to rule as Pope.
Marriage was also designed to stop temptations of the immorality of humankind. One of the seven Universal Laws specifically prohibits sexual immorality and Jewish Law goes into great detail and explains what exactly is forbidden. Every major civilization had laws against immoral behaviors (except pre-Christian Rome and Greece....they fell), how did we forget.
Obedience
There is only one way to hold back punishment. The Non-Jewish world must change and return to obedience to the Universal Laws of Man or Noahide Laws. Two of the most important laws we must obey are those commanding against idolatry and sexual immorality. We must reset the covenant of marriage and stop people from desiring adoration. There is only one who deserves our worship and that is God. Only returning to God will bring true peace.
Brothers and Sisters, we have a challenge that reaches the world. We have to start at home, then our neighbors, then the world. Give up our worldly (not of God) ways and live for God. It will be a challenge are you up to it?
In God’s Loving Grace and Mercy,
Rob, Servant of God

Be Careful How You Choose

Read Now

Brothers and Sisters we have a huge problem. There are two sides to every story and we are living at the crossroads where choices need to be made. Some say we have to choose the lesser of two evils which is true because both have problems and sins. One is speaking mostly by himself with advice from others while the other is being completely manipulated by others with an agenda that is not of God. We read Revelation and see that there are two parts to the being that is not of God and this is what we are currently fighting.
Beware the Vile Tongue
God’s Word tells us to watch out for those with vile tongues. We have a group who promise the world and produce nothing but for themselves and their greedy desires while making the other seem like the bad guy. They have been deceptive and use people to make themselves look good.
The Book of Jeremiah takes place at a crossroads event for Judah and the People of Jerusalem. God did not want to punish the people but He left them no choice because they chose the direction that led away from God. Right now we are in a place where Good is evil and evil is good. This has been brewing for decades but came to fruition 12 years ago when God’s Word was challenged in the highest court in the USA which allowed so many biblical and universal laws to be set aside appeasing a nation of people who cared not for God but for their own human desires. Let’s look at a portion of Jeremiah 7:
The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 “Stand in the gate of the Lord's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all you men of Judah who enter these gates to worship the Lord. 3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place. 4 Do not trust in these deceptive words: ‘This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord.’
5 “For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice one with another, 6 if you do not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, 7 then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.
8 “Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. 9 Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, make offerings to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known, 10 and then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, ‘We are delivered!’—only to go on doing all these abominations? 11 Has this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord. 12 Go now to my place that was in Shiloh, where I made my name dwell at first, and see what I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel. 13 And now, because you have done all these things, declares the Lord, and when I spoke to you persistently you did not listen, and when I called you, you did not answer, 14 therefore I will do to the house that is called by my name, and in which you trust, and to the place that I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh. 15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I cast out all your kinsmen, all the offspring of Ephraim.
For those that do not know, worship of Baal included child sacrifice which we call abortion today.
Place Your Trust in God Alone
So many people put their trust in someone who speaks with a slit tongue and has his minions obedient to his every word. He has people who really have no clue endorsing him because they made a deal and are getting rich from lies and falsehoods while being able to continue their unwholesome lives. These people convinced the masses that destruction, murder, and immoralities are okay even of their own selves.
16 “As for you, do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them, and do not intercede with me, for I will not hear you. 17 Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, the fathers kindle fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven. And they pour out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger. 19 Is it I whom they provoke? declares the Lord. Is it not themselves, to their own shame? 20 Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, upon man and beast, upon the trees of the field and the fruit of the ground; it will burn and not be quenched.”
God destroyed the earth and gave new birth to it once before with a flood of water. God used fire to get the attention of the Jews. Now He is cleansing the whole earth through pestilence and letting nature cleanse itself. What we have seen so far is only the beginning to catch our attention and change our ways. Our reliance has to be on He who created us. Our worship only to Him. We cannot depend on grace or faith alone but have an active faith of service. We must have a truthful and non backsliding repentance on and in our hearts, otherwise we are doomed.
21 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat the flesh. 22 For in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, I did not speak to your fathers or command them concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices. 23 But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’ 24 But they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward.
God’s Word is Law
God Gave Adam certain rules to live by after the Fall. He added the allowance to eat meat after Noah. God did not command eating the sacrificed animal until He gave the Statutes which coincided with the Moral and Ethical Laws as well as the Feasts. God first required Obedience to His direction to remove them safely from Egypt and they did not get that right. The generation that followed had inclined their ear and obeyed so they were allowed into the Promised Land.
25 From the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt to this day, I have persistently sent all my servants the prophets to them, day after day. 26 Yet they did not listen to me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck. They did worse than their fathers.
How many times do we who share His Word have to speak clearly for people to understand. There are moments where many are given into a bad time in order to be awakened to their duty to God. Some never wake up, some wake up but it would be too late. Society today talks about woke people but who are they? These woke up to an earthly, worldly truth and have forgotten what God desires. They have been put back to sleep under the spell of the world and will wake up in a nightmare because they cannot follow 7 simple rules.
1. Do not deny God (no idolatry).
2. Do not murder (self explanitory).
3. Do not steal (including lying and cheating).
4. Do not engage in sexual immorality (Every immoral behavior from inscest to extra marital affairs, homosexual relationships and pedophelia).
5. Do not blaspheme (do not use God’s name in vain nor put words in God’s mouth).
6. Do not eat of a live animal (no eating flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive).
7. Establish courts and legal systems to ensure obedience of these laws.
Follow these and we will live. Return to God through repentance and God will bring peace. Be prepared as the only way to true peace is through battle which many will not survive.
Brothers and Sisters I care deeply for each of you and do not want to see anyone fall further and be in the absence of God. Love one another Just as God Loves you. Share His Word and give of yourselves (more than just money).

In God’s Arms through His Grace and Mercy,

Is God’s Word In Your Heart, On Your Lips Or Both

Read Now

When we speak God’s Word does it come from the heart? God told Joshua to keep His Word on his lips so that he would have strength and courage to do as he needs in the world to make God known. He also wants the Word to be kept in the heart. This way the Word becomes part of everything we say and do.

What is the Word
Let us begin by clarifying what is meant by the Word. The Word is God’s Law, His Plan for us. It is the guide for a return to the relationship we were to have with Him before the Fall. The Word provides for us a right way of living and since we are made in His Image the Word is part of us.

Unfortunately, the Word within us became corrupted as soon as we gained the knowledge of good and evil. God reminded Adam of His Word through giving him a set of Laws for all generations to abide by in hopes that they would turn away from the world and back to Him. This failed and God flooded the earth saving Noah and his family who knew the Word.

We Keep Messing Up
So God separated the world once again at Babylon and after many years things happened and God chose a people group with a lineage set by Noah’s son Shem. This group would become known as Israel. God gave the Israelites a more specific set of Laws and statutes setting them apart from the rest of the world.

What Are we Supposed to Do?
Scripture states in Deuteronomy:
You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. Deuteronomy 11:18

From this we can gather that God wants us to know His desire for communion with us through the understanding and actions involved in obeying His Law, His history, and sharing His Word. The Israelites have physical reminders that are tied around their hand, wrist and arm as well as their forehead to show their actions and thoughts are of God. As Gentiles, we are not required to have these physical reminders but are bound by following His Word and showing through our words and actions. The Psalmist says:      I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you (Psalm 119:11).

When a father wants his children to pay attention, he hopes that the words get ingrained in the heart and mind in order to steer away from doing wrong and disappointing the father. Solomon tells his son in Proverbs:

My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. Proverbs 4:20-21

When we listen to God and have His Word stored up in our hearts He places a seal on our hearts to remind us that when we speak it should only be things of good and moral nature. No vile words should come from our lips. The Adversary has broken that seal because of the sinful nature so we must be vigilant in keeping that part of us at bay. We know we can’t but we try.

What makes matters worse nowadays is that many have forgotten God’s Word and nothing but immoral, vile, lies, and hurtful words are spoken. These words are on their heart and have poisoned their minds to the point that good thoughts and actions are now evil and against what they desire which is everything the world has to offer. They only care about themselves and not the welfare of those around them. It appears we are in the time of Noah once again so be prepared.

Brothers and Sisters, pray for the world and all those in it so that we can prepare for the coming storm. America is on the verge of a great choice that could determine the fate of many if not all people. Neither candidate is perfect. One is disliked because certain powers have made him to be a vile person while the other has openly done things that many find to be questionable behaviors. Lies abound but truths are being revealed. There is much double talk that is openly seen and recorded. One seems easily manipulated and backtracks or has to explain why he said things while the other must be told (on occasion) to choose words wisely. It boils down to this: God’s Word is the only Word to trust. What we must do is choose which one appears to follow God’s Word more. Pray hard before casting the vote.

Keep God’s Word In your heart and On your Lips so that the Seal of God stays intact.

With God’s Love, Grace, and Mercy,
Rob, Servant of God

When we talk about supporting our families it usually evolves around material things more than emotional. This world spends so much time worrying about the physical needs more than the heart that our measure of success has come from money and material enjoyment rather than family gatherings. There are those who have been brought up without want of things that they do not understand emotional attachments and live either in seclusion or extreme boastfulness. Either way theirs is a lonely life. On the other spectrum there are those that live through the heart. These are blessed in specific but numerous ways. While one depends on a piece of paper or a credit card for happiness, the other relies on relationships. Which are you?

King David was told he would not build a house for God. Obviously he was not happy at first because he understood he failed God but knew that his son would build it. David prepares the way for the building of the Temple by gathering people who gave willingly and generously for God. When he looked at the massive pile of donations he praised God saying,

“Blessed are you, O LORD, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.
1 Chronicles 29:10-13

The measure of blessings that the people had brought must have been massive. Some may say it was brought out of fear of reprisal from the King but it was just the opposite. The people brought gifts that were given to them as blessings from God Almighty because of their obedience to Him. In their mind these riches were frivolous material goods in which they had more than a proper abundance so it was right to give them to God because these things really did not belong to them.

David continues by saying,
“But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you. For we are strangers before you and sojourners, as all our fathers were. Our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no abiding. O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a house for your holy name comes from your hand and is all your own. I know, my God, that you test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. In the uprightness of my heart I have freely offered all these things, and now I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you. O LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep forever such purposes and thoughts in the hearts of your people, and direct their hearts toward you. Grant to Solomon my son a whole heart that he may keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes, performing all, and that he may build the palace for which I have made provision.” 1 Chronicles 29:14-19

David is emphasizing that he knows their place in the greater scheme of things. Remember, we are made to be caretakers of the world and the Israelites were given a specific mission from God. They know that things of the earth are not truly theirs to own but given as a way to live comfortably while accomplishing what they were supposed to do.

Devalued Faith
Today’s society is filled with greed of stuff which darkens the heart. This has flowed into a greed of self-servitude where everything revolves around the self so when others need help. Those who feel this way do everything they can to achieve self-gratification and will not lift a finger to help those who help them unless they get something out of it (or their spouses tell them they have to do it). These may say they are believers but they are not followers of God and are not in a right relationship with Him.
This person type has trust issues with those who are on the rim of their innermost circles. It is a situation where a person is needed for something but everything outside of their need means nothing and cannot trust or be trusted to reciprocate. What kind of relationship is this? Devalued and volatile. Not Godly at all.

Willingly Obligated
In the beginning God created. He is our creator which means we are obligated to Him for our very breath. The difference is being willingly obligated or serving without question. It is to have the ability to give without the desire to receive. We serve an awesome God who provides our every basic sustainable need. To accomplish this, He granted us gifts of trades and character by which we work together and help each other. This type of way is possible when all we needs are the basics for life.
If you look into history you will see communities are centered on a belief which all have and to appease their beliefs, they help each other. Yes there were disagreements but they were solved using the 7 Principles (Noachide Laws) and the judicial system within them. Eventually codes of laws were set up with the 7 Principles as a base
Another way of looking at this is the faith that we put our lives into His hands. To understand this better, we make a choice and live by that choice but God delivers the reward or consequence for that choice. We have faith that our choices are good in His eyes.

Give It Back
The only way we came move forward is by giving back. This does not mean feed all your money into churches. This means helping others in the communities you live in. Share the love, compassion, and understanding that God has provided us with those who need it, especially those within the church community who may seem to be right on the outside but have wounded hearts. Live with Mercy and Grace for others in heart mind and soul. We can give back to God in more ways than we can possibly imagine.
Press that button on the heart and activate your faith.

All Praise Is God's

A beautiful thing about this time of year is that the weather changes. He designed this so that different areas of the world can support each other in times of need with food and other materials. The Jews celebrate this time of the year as the creation week and the Day of Atonement. The High Holiday season coincides with many celebrations throughout the world where renewal and harvest times are in full swing. There is something very special about this season. We celebrate these days in the coolness of Fall or the refreshing of Spring depending on the area of the hemisphere in which you dwell.
God wants us to do more than view creation, He wants us to celebrate it and in turn celebrate Him. The Biblical tradition is to say Psalm 47, seven times the day before the New Year begins. I have copied it here so we can understand why this celebratory song is important. Let’s read it:

Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.
He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet.
He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah
God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm!
God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is highly exalted! Psalm 47

Why seven times you may ask? One for each day of creation including the day of rest. This is done in the Feast of Trumpets or RoshHashana. There is no real reason given as to why to blow the shofar or trumpet it is just because.
As you can see by the Psalm, it is all about praising and celebrating God. There is no real reason to just celebrate on one day though as He seeks to know us and for us to know Him daily. It is just done that way. This Psalm does separate the Israelites from the rest of the world as God’s Chosen but it also recognizes that God is King over all the earth. When this trumpet sounds, all nations are to be reminded of God and His Laws from Days of Old. The Laws given to Adam and Noah to uphold the covenants for all time.
So many people do not realize that we have had instruction since the first man that applies to all mankind. To be honest, the Laws are very simply stated but are at the same time complex. These Laws are also found in every early culture that had writing. When the Tower of Babel fell so did many cultures forget God but the Law never changed. No matter who we are, we are to Praise God and follow these Laws.
We should praise God through reading and studying His Word daily following what we can in this day and age. Times have changed but God’s Word is eternal. Society tries to change God but as we have seen more recently, God is working through people. We will see some interesting things happen soon and the best way is to ask God to do as He sees fit but the condition is that He may give us a mission and we must comply no matter what.
With the recent happenings at the ministry we can cry to God and say why or we can praise Him and thank Him. We lift God up in Praise and adoration for His lessons and the actions we must take. As the Doxology says, Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow. Praise Him ALL creatures here below. All creation gives praise to God. Even the rocks and trees give Him Glory.
Amen Brothers and Sisters,
In God’s Love,

Remember and Forgive

Nineteen years ago the world was in shock. Some rejoiced and celebrated as many civil servants, family members, friends, and heroes' lives were lost due to terrorists who wished to see our way of life destroyed. It was a day that brought many people together from all walks of life. There was a sense of patriotism. All was well for a little while then there was spite, hatred, a desire for vengeance against those who were associated by religion or ethnicity to the men who decided to do the evil that was done. Why do we blame the innocent for the bad choices of a few?
Martyrs For Beliefs
Many people die for their convictions and beliefs. This is nothing new and has happened since the beginning of recorded time. It is in our nature to have the willingness to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of others but it is also our nature to be the ones who are willing to kill for ours or their beliefs. These choices we make both help and destroy lives at the same time. The ramifications that follow are usually the cause for revenge. But God says that vengeance is His and retribution does not come from us but Him alone. Why do we desire death when we also fear it?
Jesus was both willing and unwilling to die but He knew it was the right thing to do. The Spirit was willing but the flesh was weak. He took every ounce of punishment that man gave for our sake because that was what the Father willed. We are to be willing sacrifices for those we love and follow John 15:13, Greater Love hath no man than he who gives his life for his friends. Making the ultimate sacrifice is what we do as caretakers of this world. Some through service in the military, some as civil servants, some as health professionals, some as parents and even children. These are the ones who truly understand that our life here has a purpose and will do anything for anyone no matter friend or foe.
The Martyrs of early Christendom gave their lives due to hatred and misunderstandings of their beliefs. Some who are considered martyrs today should be deemed suicidal and murderers  because they kill themselves while taking others who have a differing worldview with them. Going into battle with the intent to die is not martyrdom it is murder with an immediate death sentence.
Death for a Cause
Many lives in the current situation we have in the world are taken out of pure hatred due to a moral, ethnic, or political idealism. This is not what God has planned but what the devil is doing in an effort to destroy God’s plan. There is so much hatred for people due to the greed and jealousy of a few who spread fear through lies and false propaganda to fuel the destruction of our way of life. The blame always falls on the scapegoat who is actually trying to make things right. It is not really our cause but the devil’s desire and we are just pawns.
The problem of temptation and sin that has plagued us this past century and a few extra years has caused war, man made famine, civil unrest, immoral behaviors becoming acceptable social norms and the destruction of the family itself. We were told this would happen all the back in the times when the prophets and sages of old were given visions of the future and the end times. We are suffering and dying because of man giving himself over to the Adversary and being blinded by promises of physical wealth and immortal health. That is not what God wants.
God’s Love Leads to Forgiveness
To solve these issues today we must maintain our love for God as He loves us. One of the hardest things to do is find the joy in the persecution and suffering that we are dealing with today but His Love is what will take us through this. God did not save us through the sacrifice of His Son for nothing. We should hold on to the trust we have in He who gave us life and the Love He pours in our souls so that we can let it pour out and branch to others. We can overcome this current evil but it takes all of us not just a few.
Because He is willing to forgive us we must forgive others. Forgiveness is very hard for some who tend to hold grudges and are bitter. Those things lead down dark paths that only harden the heart and make matters worse. If we truly trust God and Repent without backsliding, we can be on the road to have true forgiveness. Putting our old selves away and burning the box we can learn to forgive and let God’s Love overflow from our hearts. Remember, sometimes God’s Love is actually tough love and so should ours. It is difficult but possible. How you choose to use it is up to you, just remember who you must answer to.
Brothers and Sisters, show mercy when dealing with others so that God’s grace will shine through. Be the man or woman God designed you to be and let your spirit flow. Love one another with God’s Love not the human definition. And give of yourself.
In God’s Grace and Mercy,
Rob, Servant of God

Wanted: Faithful Servants

What if I told you there is a Higher Being that created the world and therefore created us? This Being goes by many names but is best known as YHWH, I AM, Elohim, Hashem, and Jehovah. He had a Father/Child relationship with us until His first two decided to be disobedient and were removed from His sight. Thing is after He forbade them reentry He didn’t just leave them to the dangers of the world but gave them a way to return. It would not be easy but it could happen, just not in their lifetime.

Many years later, after He spoke through people, God decided that it was time to reopen the communications and save those who had faith and trust in Him. It would be the final necessary sacrifice and it would be a part of Himself. The Word came down with one mission but before that could be done God wanted people to turn back to Him. The Word in the flesh, Jesus, retaught what had been lost and or perverted by man. The ones who listened had returned to God and were given a mission, make disciples of all mankind.

LISTENING AND HEARING
In order to be a faithful servant the first thing you must do is to listen to the Word, hear the Word, and Trust that the Word is truth. What Jesus taught was to open our hearts and minds to the truth of the Word of God and to be obedient to the Word by doing what is right. To live a Christ-like life so that we can know God and conduct ourselves as He desires and share Him with others. To rebuild the relationship that was lost to the world.

Did you know that before there was a great flood that destroyed and restructured the earth, all people knew God? Some did not care to have a relationship with Him and lived life the way they wanted. These people did not listen or heed the warning signs and died. Then years after the cleansing, people of all nations who still spoke one language decided to try and reach God. But there was too much greed and envy that had entered the world so God had confused the language and caused many people groups to lose knowledge of God and the Laws given to Noah. God heard the cry of Abram through his worship and since He was of the chosen line, God took Abram away from the confusion and built a relationship with him and his family.

Many more hundreds of years passed and finally Jesus, the Word made Flesh, entered the world. He brought people back to God but had to do one thing that many did not understand. Jesus was to be the last sacrifice needed for mankind to heal the bond that was broken. He accomplished this and the link between God and man was reestablished. Many people became faithful servants.

This is the Life We Chose
It is not enough just to know that there is a God and that a man had bled for us so we can live. But that is how so many see Christianity. They believe that Jesus went through what He did so that we don’t have to. Well they are only partially right. They hear John 3:16 but do not understand the meaning. Jesus died so that we can live but it is not just the physical life we are talking about but also and more poignantly, our eternal, spiritual self. To believe in is one thing but God wants us to Be in. In other words we have to put our faith in action. We have to walk the talk.

To be a faithful servant one has to be able to share by Word and Deed. But to share it means we must live it. We cannot be one like those who ask people to do as they say and not as they do. Think about it as teaching children. If you show bad habits then that is what a child learns no matter how much you speak of doing things the right way.

Is There a Reward For This?
Yes, yes there is but not while in our current form. Because of the life we choose as active followers and faithful servants, we will suffer much. We will experience persecution, pain, and other worldly troubles.

This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering— since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 2 Ephesians 1: 5-8

Those who do not know God or obey His Word will not be rewarded with eternal life and see God. They will be thrust into eternal darkness, that is, they will not see God and they will suffer as they made people suffer on earth. We need not worry about vengeance because God’s got this and just like His reward is eternal so is His vengeance.

Brothers and Sisters, do not fear suffering but embrace it. There is joy in the suffering of this world. To grow and to learn we must suffer the growing pains of life. I do not know about you but I would rather suffer while living the best I can like Christ rather than suffering and not knowing the peace and Love of God the Father. Are you a faithful servant? God wants you to be.

In His Loving Arms,
Rob, Servant of God

GARDENS

Read Now

“No man may be miserable that is master of a garden” John Evelyn (1620-1706).
What do you think of when you hear the word garden? For the Persians a garden area was like Paradise (Garden of Eden). The Moors, an enclosed courtyard with pools of water. In Britain there are arched hedges framing large squared beautified lawns. No matter where you are from, a garden is an area to relax.
A Place to Discover Inner Peace
What is peace? Peace is freedom from disturbance that brings a sense of tranquility. It is a state of well-being, prosperity, and security. It denotes the overcoming of strife, quarrel, and social tension, the prevention of enmity and war. The pursuit of peace is the obligation of the individual and the goal of various social regulations and structures.
A garden is a place where peace can prevail. This peace does not come easy and it is somewhat challenging for the builder. Gardens are a way for people to find that inner peace to help bring them closer to the creator. With that, the different types of gardens grant those who visit them a look into the builder’s soul.
Peace in gardening allows for personal reflection. When entering a garden, go in with an open heart and mind leaving thoughts of the daily world behind. This is the only way to hear God’s creation. Doing this allows for God to speak clearly and true repentance can lead to a desire for a peaceful interaction with others.
A Place for Creation to Thrive in Harmony With One Another

There are many ways to think of harmony. Basically it means to be in agreement; accord; a consistent, orderly, or pleasing arrangement of parts; congruity. For a musician harmony is any simultaneous combination of tones especially when blended into chords pleasing to the ear wholly distinguishable from melody and rhythm. Living together to create a bond that brings all things together as one.

Gardens create a beautiful chance for creation to combine each individual thing we are designed to do and develop a community which grows in social and economic matters. What I mean is that each participant in a garden setting has a task. Everything is done for the eventual good of the ecosystem even the things that seem bad eventually have a good quality. When the garden grows, that means creation is in harmony. Plants grow flowers and vegetables, water flows, the system works.

We Are All Caretakers

Our divine mission is to watch over the earth, cultivate it, subdue it, live in it. There are many ways we can accomplish this yet some seek to destroy rather than develop and design useful items that help our fellow man without the destruction of the earth. We can use the natural resources without abusing them and creating things that have destructive qualities. In fact, we ourselves are resources. Our part is labor intensive but when working in harmony with nature we can make this world a better place.

God created. When He created, all things were at peace. He created us. We destroyed His Garden Paradise. All God asked of Adam and Eve was to not do one simple thing and they broke the boundary that was set by Him. When they crossed that line, sin entered and the land was wrought with hardship. Because of man, the world suffers. Because of God’s sacrifice of His Son, man was forgiven but it is up to us to restore the land. Our Souls are saved but we still must toil and suffer the physical. It is up to us to make right what has been wronged.

The other part is getting along with each other which is the hardest thing to do. Because of behaviors, values, and characteristics deemed as against God’s image we are always going to have issues with our fellow man. Too many want some kind of power over others and lead them astray. We cannot live in a world where human-kind competes against human-kind in a struggle for dominance. This is not a war we should be fighting. The true war is of the Spirit and it is a war only God can win. Our infighting with our brothers and sisters does not help.

What Can We Do (whether we are willing or not)

Maybe if we tear down walls that separate us brick by brick and behold the beauty which is creation, we can see the Garden of Eden once again. To have God’s Kingdom on earth we need to follow God’s Word, repent and stay away from the things that keep us away from God. It will take a lot of sacrifice and we may suffer for a little while but when we no longer miss the things we gave up, we will feel His presence. For many it will be a most difficult undertaking but the rewards are greater. Is it worth it? Yes.

Brothers and Sisters, all things are possible with God. Without Him we cannot do even the simplest hardest task. What we put up can be taken down but what is built with God in our hearts will not fall. We need to stop building walls and begin to open hearts even more today than yesterday.

What good does it do to harbor anger towards someone? Gardens cannot grow if the temperature is too extreme and there is no water or proper nutrients. Our emotions are like nutrients for our souls. If we continue in negatives, the heart, soul, and mind become corrupt and can wither and die. If we stay in the positives, our bodies and souls flourish and grow.

Say goodbye to bitterness, greed, and hatred, all those things lead to death. Say hello to forgiveness, love, kindness, and compassion, all those lead to life. Sadness is a temporary state that we can escape from when we have the Holy Spirit. If you see a fellow brother or sister down, shine your light upon them and lift them up. Love one another with God’s Love, not man’s ideals. Keep your heart and mind filled with His Word and from that we will be strong and successful. Be the light of the world standing on mountains not hiding in the hills. Praise and Worship God daily in everything you do.

With Hope for a bright future.
In God’s Embrace,
Rob, Servant of God

Because of the hype of this recent pandemic many folks are left without a way to physically eat or drink. What is worse is many have been left without Spiritual food and drink out of fear of dying. Everybody will eventually die, that is the nature of things, but what if I told you that God does not shut down when there is pain and suffering in the world. In fact, this is when He does the best work.

The Word in Isaiah 55
“All you who are thirsty, come to the water!

You without money, come, buy, and eat!
Yes, come! Buy wine and milk
without money — it’s free!
2 Why spend money for what isn’t food,
your wages for what doesn’t satisfy?
Listen carefully to me, and you will eat well,
you will enjoy the fat of the land.
3 Open your ears, and come to me;
listen well, and you will live --
I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
the grace I assured David.
4 I have given him as a witness to the peoples,
a leader and lawgiver for the peoples.
5 You will summon a nation you do not know,
and a nation that doesn’t know you will run to you,
for the sake of Adonai your God,
the Holy One of Isra’el, who will glorify you.”

It's Free
God gives the free gift of life to all who will hear and heed His Word sharing it with all who will hear it. Throughout Scripture, God reminds us that His Word is eternal and no man, nor any of His creation, nor those who sit on the heavenly council, nor those He banished from the heavens can make any changes that stick. The Bible has been through so many translations where people have to change things to meet certain societies understandings leaving only the truth that "matters" to all and even then it is distorted.

But Not Free For Us To Change
All these changes will fade with each new generation but the truth will never change. There is a price to pay if we try to change God's Word. We can try to explain things away but the true evidence in and of Scripture will show itself.

That is Why Jesus
God promised David a ruler that would be king forever but a cost would have to be paid. This one would return many to God and away from the man made religious desires. His blood would be spilled but that would make all things God's again. And we must seek Him.

6 Seek Adonai while he is available,
call on him while he is still nearby.
7 Let the wicked person abandon his way
and the evil person his thoughts;
let him return to Adonai,
and he will have mercy on him;
let him return to our God,
for he will freely forgive.

God's Word Is Eternally His
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
and your ways are not my ways,” says Adonai.
9 “As high as the sky is above the earth
are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For just as rain and snow fall from the sky
and do not return there, but water the earth,
causing it to bud and produce,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth --
it will not return to me unfulfilled;
but it will accomplish what I intend,
and cause to succeed what I sent it to do.”

12 Yes, you will go out with joy,
you will be led forth in peace.
As you come, the mountains and hills
will burst out into song,
and all the trees in the countryside
will clap their hands.
13 Cypresses will grow in place of thorns,
myrtles will grow instead of briars.
This will bring fame to Adonai
as an eternal, imperishable sign.

The most awesome thing about God's Word is that our lives are to be reflections of it. We were brought to the earth through His Hands and His Breath. He has our best interest in mind because we are here to do His Will through His Word. All creation bows down before Him and we are to lead the choir of the earth in singing His Praises.

In time, in His time, God will make things right again but that would not be possible if it weren't for the sacrifice He made. He made the ultimate sacrifice and allowed His Son's blood to be spilled. When that happened the sky opened and the earth shook opening the way back to the Father.

No man can tell us not to worship No man can tell us we cannot praise the Father. Governments may try to shut down buildings of worship but they cannot silence our voice. We are many parts of the one Body that Believes. We may suffer persecution but will not be cut away, starved from what matters most.

In time, those who try to stop us will suffer for their lack of belief. They will try to take things that are not theirs to take. They will try to make us pay for things that is not for them to sell. When they think we are suffering they will see our joy for that cannot be stolen. They will suffer and some will turn to God while others will not. All we can do is pray and let the Holy Spirit work.

Do not fear death for the physical death is inevitable. What choice you make here on earth will determine your Spiritual fate. Be blessed in the knowledge that Jesus lives and will return to bring us home to reunite with God.

In His Eternal Embrace,
Rob, Servant of God

Persecuted

Christian persecution is rampant during this pandemic. Government officials are allowing so many things to reopen but are still against religious gatherings especially of Christian or Jewish practices. A few years back I had predicted that gatherings would be transformed and we would either be left to homes or secret gatherings but I did not take into account that a pandemic would be a factor in this transformation. Here we are in 2020 and we are seeing a culmination of many things we were warned about in Scripture.
Dark is the New Light
Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who change darkness into light
and light into darkness,
who change bitter into sweet
and sweet into bitter! Isaiah 5:20
Isaiah saw this in his day and the ruin it caused the society. Starting in verse 8 of the 5th chapter through the 25th verse, Isaiah begins the warning of the coming desolation and exile. This section is very relevant to what is happening today. Many have forgotten God throughout the last 100 years. God was removed from the classroom. All sorts of depraved and immoral behaviors began to emerge and take over society. Money and industry became the driving force to take care of all our needs and created distractions which slowly began their rule over us. Now there are more distractions than ever before and exposure to all types of immoral behaviors is easier seen and heard than decent moral behaviors to the point that moral decency is seen as passé.
The World is Become More Important than God
But understand this; that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Think of what is going on. The distractions from God have filled the heart with everything worldly and we now lack the space for compassion, the truth of love, trust, faith, dependency / Fear of God, understanding, wisdom, piety, and self-worth. As much as we would like to say we do not fall into the trap, we can’t. Even pastors are going through these tough times. The Word given to Isaiah above is happening once again.
 Worship Must Evolve
What is happening? The fear of staying alive has kept people from doing the right thing. So many are staying away from corporal worship out of fear of catching a virus. Yes this virus is deadly but people have not taken care of themselves and invited infection which infects even those who do try to have good hygiene, watch what they eat, and follow the guidance given. This has kept physical and spiritual families apart. We can still be physically distanced while maintaining a socially active life.
One of the problems I have is that I like to hug which we cannot do right now. So it is painful but I am surviving because I am wrapped in God’s Love and carried by Christ.
Paul said to the church of Ephesus:
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, (Ephesians 5:18-20).
Many appointed above us in the government have refused to open churches but will allow social gatherings in bars, protests, and riots. They say it is for our safety as well as the health and welfare of the elderly. What the heck are they thinking? We will not be silenced. Remember, When two or more are gathered in Jesus’ name we are in the Spirit. To worship is to be alive in the Spirit.
What about the Mega Church?
It is time for mega churches to rethink what they are doing. To stay relevant many mega churches have increased their online footprint which is good to a point but outreach becomes an issue. A strong church with an online presence understands the need for follow-up and reaching others. A large church still cannot reach everyone in their flock no matter how hard they try.
Then there is the religious center based on music. The Word is lost when there is more song than sermon. Some try to balance this but most fail. When the worship team becomes popular and the church bases itself on producing music, it loses truth in Christ. Songs of worship are great but when they replace the Word, God is lost. A praise band leads the local community of believers in songs in worship and praise not producing music on church grounds.
Mega Churches also rely on a lot of money to survive. They become more concerned about an offering of money instead of developing and using Spiritual Gifts. Many people who are touched by Christ eventually become nothing but a number because they get lost and gifts they had fade away. We are all commissioned to share Christ but too many are just worried about being fed and no longer desire to feed others.
The Mega Church must be humbled and split if the Kingdom of God is to be shared. All too often a pastor who has many in his flock lose themselves in the sin of pride through popularity. Naming a ministry or a church after one’s self is deceiving those who follow. The humble pastor puts the spiritual fitness of the flock above the self.
We Will Not Be Silenced
Believers can still gather in groups of 10. We can still gather in larger groups when physically distanced. We do not have to be indoors. Me, I prefer to be outside to worship. Think about it, some of the best sermons and teachings were done when Jesus was not confined to a four walled structure. There is nothing that says we have to be inside a structure because the “church” is not a building. We are the church and the temple is inside our hearts. We should be able to open our hearts no matter where we are.
Brothers and Sisters, please do not take any of what I said (especially in the Mega Church section) as jealousy or whining for I am a speaker of truth. If God wanted the masses to follow one person, the individual would not be a sinner like us and that won’t happen until the Messiah returns. We should follow one book and that is the whole Bible, not just parts that we can manipulate to our needs and human desires.
We are to be set apart as a community of like-minded multiethnic groups of Believers. Our ethnicity makes us unique and if we surround ourselves with no one but the same ethnicity our hearts become hard. When many ethnicities come together as one human race loved by God then we are bringing the Kingdom of God closer to earth. We must all repent and keep our words of repentance without backsliding and returning to our sinful lives. Repenting is a promise to God that builds a personal covenant between Him and ourselves. When we keep it, others see it and we plant that seed. That is what we are designed for.
We can beat this persecution. Jesus died for us, it is time we get off our donkeys and live for Him.
In His Grace and Merciful Arms,
 Rob Servant of God

Waiting on a Miracle

Read Now

While listening to a friend of mine preach this morning he said something that hit me. People are waiting for miracles but instead of being active they just sit and wait. The funny thing about miracles is that they happen to anyone anywhere but they do not happen to people who are totally inactive in the things they try. Miracles are things that occur after prayerful consideration or desperation when there is nothing left. But the one thing they all have in common is that there is always some kind of activity surrounding it.

Miraculous Healing
Yes it happens. When the doctors just cannot do anymore and the prayer warriors come out in full force, there is healing. It is not always the healing we hope for but there is still healing. From these miracles come comfort in the knowledge that either the person is healed or the Holy Spirit heals the hearts of those who the person touched while alive or in the hospital.

Right now many are asking for healing from the latest pandemic which has taken 603,000 lives worldwide. Thankfully the number of confirmed cases way outnumbers the deaths as does the number of recovered persons but the virus is still active. This will take an act of God to stop. God works in mysterious ways and on His time so when He decides to stop it, it will be seen as a miracle.

Miraculous Events
When bad things happen God puts people in place to create miracles. Biblical examples include Elijah and the fire from heaven, Jesus, the Miracles of the Apostles, and many more. One thing in common was faith in action. Jesus miracles happened because of the faith of those around Him. the apostles showed their faith and strength in everything they did.
Questionable Miracles
There are some miracles that happen with status and Icons that I cannot explain but am very leary about them being from God. Reason: Why would God use an Icon that would become a center of worship when it is He whom we should be worshiping. Blood and tears coming from statues of stone, effigies just showing up out of nowhere, and other things that are material in nature are not necessarily God driven miracles.  Remember, Lucifer and his minions can easily trick even the most devout.
People in Miracles
God uses people to help others believe. Sometimes it takes a miracle but God has put someone there to make it happen. Think about it… the sudden monetary gift to a struggling family, food being delivered even though no one said anything, or the unexpected invitation to Thanksgiving Dinner and bringing home leftovers when the bills took all the money and there was nothing left for food (that actually happened to my family). With each of those situations, God placed something on the heart of a faithful servant or one that He was working on to show the good that God gives in every time of need. He said that He is our provider, our comfort, our refuge, our strength. He shows it through miracles and the actions of His faithful servants.
You Cannot Sit and Wait
Sitting and waiting for something to happen really gets you nowhere. This is a solid fact. God will take care of you even in your darkest times but you must be active. Scripture warns us about being lazy and emphasizes that the reward for this lack of action is not good. We have a saying that good things come to those who wait but if you wait too long without doing anything you might just be waiting an eternity.
What can we do?
This is the short and sweet of it, move while standing firm in your faith. We are the faithful with action. We show how our faith fills us and gives us the ability to do what God commands of us. We do things for others without taking for ourselves. God grants rewards but not always immediate. We can move those mountains that separate people from God, that is a power He gave us through the Holy Spirit.
Don’t just sit there waiting for God to be active in your life, be active in the lives of others.
In His Glorious Embrace,
Rob, Servant of God

Sing

His Praises live inside us. It is not something a Believer can just shut off but that is what is happening around the world. For Christians in California this persecution is a reality. The Accuser, the Adversary, the Devil and his demons are stepping up the war over our souls by trying to take something that cannot be removed without serious consequences. We are made to rejoice in firm adoration of our Creator, our Father God Almighty.
We Praise God For All Things
Shout for joy to Adonai, all the earth! Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter his presence with joyful songs.
Be aware that Adonai
is God; it is he who made us; and we are his, his people, the flock in his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, enter his courtyards with praise; give thanks to him, and bless his name.

For Adonai
is good, his grace continues forever, and his faithfulness lasts through all generations. Psalm 100

What cannot be ignored is that God is the One who gave us life. It is by His Word and His Spirit that we were formed from the dust and clay so we owe everything to Him. He created us to watch over His Creation. We are to sing His Praises and by doing so we heal the world. As long as we continue to give Him praise, He will continue to guide us home to Him. When we get home we will do as the Psalm above says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, enter his courtyards with praise; give thanks to him, and bless his name.”

Until then, God has us to lift His Name up in Worship.

We Are Built For Worship
Worship comes from the heart.

How Can I Keep From Singing  By Chris Tomlin
There is an endless song

Echoes in my soul

I hear the music ring

And though the storms may come

I am holding on

To the rock I cling

How can I keep from singing Your praise

How can I ever say enough

How amazing is Your love

How can I keep from shouting Your name

I know I am loved by the King

And it makes my heart want to sing

I will lift my eyes

In the darkest night

For I know my Savior lives

And I will walk with You

Knowing You'll see me through

And sing the songs You give

I can sing in the troubled times

Sing when I win

I can sing when I lose my step

And fall…

This song worships God through praise. It also tells everyone that there is no stopping the voice of the universe from singing about The Triune God which guides us, protects us, grants us joy in times of sorrow, and provides us with strength to accomplish His plan for the world.

Nothing Can Silence The Voice of Creation

Even then if they try to silence us, the rocks will sing. For Jesus said, “I tell you that if they keep quiet, the stones will shout!”Luke 19:40.

It is in our nature to sing, to hum a tune, to whistle, to dance. When these are done for God’s Glory and not the pleasure of others or the self, then God’s Grace truly shines upon us. The only way that my vocal chords will stop being heard is if I go mute but I tell you, even then God hears the voice of our hearts and I will never stop singing.

We should not have to fight for our right to lift our voices to our God. No human law can silence God’s Voice. No human law can take His Praises away. When we sing, our voices join the thousands of angels who give God all the Glory.

If we are told not to sing to God, the earth rumbles in response (by the way, after the Governor of California put out that order, there was an earthquake). There is no reason we cannot raise our voices to proclaim God. There is no reason we cannot gather in His Name. There is no reason.

What would happen if all Christian’s and Children of the Book raised their voices to the One True God. The world would explode. Let’s make that happen.

Singing Praises Out Loud
