Building Relationships Through God's Love

Scripture of the Week:

Psalm 92

Of David.

It is good to praise the LORD,
to sing hymns to Your name, O Most High,

To proclaim Your steadfast love at daybreak,
Your faithfulness each night

With a ten-stringed harp,
with voice and lyre together.

You have gladdened me by Your deeds, O LORD;
I shout for joy at Your handiwork.

How great are Your works, O LORD,
how very subtle Or “profound.” Your designs!

A brutish man cannot know,
a fool cannot understand this:

though the wicked sprout like grass,
though all evildoers blossom,
it is only that they may be destroyed forever.

But You are exalted, O LORD, for all time.
Surely, Your enemies, O LORD,
surely, Your enemies perish;
all evildoers are scattered.

You raise my horn high like that of a wild ox;
I am soaked in freshening oil.

I shall see the defeat of my watchful foes,
hear of the downfall of the wicked who beset me.

The righteous bloom like a date-palm;
they thrive like a cedar in Lebanon;

planted in the house of the LORD,
they flourish in the courts of our God.

In old age they still produce fruit;
they are full of sap and freshness,

attesting that the LORD is upright,
my rock, in whom there is no wrong.

The Weakness of the Wicked

0 Comments

Read Now

1 Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
2 In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak, who are caught in the schemes he devises.
3 He boasts about the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord.
4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
5 His ways are always prosperous; your laws are rejected by him; he sneers at all his enemies.
6 He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.” He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.”

God is not fully absent from us right now even though it feels that way sometimes. These first six verses of Psalm 10 we see a worried man who is feeling separated from God as if He was allowing the Psalmist to stand on his own during a time of trouble. Is this God letting the wicked get so bad that they cannot escape from their own undoing? Seems like it doesn’t it. As I was reading this I was convicted into the wickedness of today’s world.
I KNOW I PROMISED NEVER TO GET POLITICAL SO I WILL TRY NOT TO
Many people have now heard of a man named George Soros who is very rich and has been accused of many wicked things. He preys on the weak minded who have turned away from God yet need a savior so he offers large amounts of money with the cost of doing his dirty work or schemes of his design. This man has fed the greed of others while desiring a one world open society absent from God. He believes he is above the law and mostly because he has so many governments in his pockets and he does not fear for his life.
You know what, he will be the first to fall. His kingdom which he is trying to create will diminish with time as people are actually beginning to wake up from the spell they were under. Yes his agents are still out there in plain sight, trying to keep people from returning to moral and upright ways, but they will not succeed.
America is not the only country that is dealing with this. The sickness of sexual immorality has become a world-wide epidemic and he is using it to control them as if to say, “I know what you have done, follow me and tracks will be covered.” He has control of the pedophiles, LGTBQZ, far left feminists, radicals, racists, baby killers, you name it he’s in control. His invincibility will be stripped away just as the previous ultra- rich world controlling families have found out: Money does not happiness make, nor can it save you from eternal damnation. In fact, it just might speed up death no matter how much is spent on trying to stay alive. No one leaves this world unscathed. But those who have Christ in their life will fare better at the judgement. We, not the wicked, will not be shaken. We, not the wicked, will not be moved. We all will suffer but our joy will come.
Be of Good faith, follow God’s instruction and you will live in His arms for eternity. Amen
